Zhouzhuang, however, showcase the collaboration of
Chinese traditions and customs.
Shanghai based interior design Dariel Studio is the mastermind behind these extraordinary spaces.With over portfolio of over 50 international spaces,
Dariel Studio has created residential and commercial spaces within Shanghai, Beijing, Sheshan, and Zhouzhuang.
This fabulous hotel is one of their work, situated in
Zhozhuang, which also goes by the name of
"Venice of the Orient". Dariel Studio has the ultimate goal of creating
a hotel that illustrates the beauty and history of Zhouzhuang. The firm knows just how to do it by designing each of the rooms a picture of different seasons, hues and names based on those seasons. All the while, the historical value of the building remains kept, thus successfully features
Ming inspired ambiance.

The second you walk inside the hotel, you are welcomed by chevron patterned floor, ceramic gourds and white face sculptures. A
rustic and traditional charm is quickly accompany you through the end of the wall with their traditional windows.
The renovation on these four connected buildings take six months to perform. Dariel studio must carefully do this part and has manage to preserved the old wooden window frames. As a result, the firm brings the
old Chinese look along a brand new, solid beams structure.

It seems like the Chinese tradition is not complete without the opportunity to look through the
Chinese style courtyard. The endless pattern windowpanes transfer your visual smoothly. All the while, dim lighting sparks the look of Asian life with their dramatic effect.
